Crema di Gelato Lagos: Our go to ice cream shop in Lagos
There's a reason our son asks to go to Lagos old town almost every day. And that reason is called Crema di Gelato. π¦
This is our go to ice cream spot, and after trying pretty much every gelateria in town over the past years, nothing comes really close. The scoops are enormous, the flavours are really nice, and the topping selection makes kids (and adults) lose their minds with excitement.
π¨ What Makes It the Best
Let's start with the obvious: the ice cream is really, really good. Creamy, flavourful, and made fresh. They rotate their flavours, so there's always something new to try alongside the classics.
But what puts Crema di Gelato over the top is the topping bar. Sprinkles, smarties, marshmallows etc. And then there are the cones with sprinkles or almonds on the outside. This is what our son lives for. It's not just ice cream, it's an event.
The scoops are huge. Genuinely generous portions that make you wonder how they fit it all on the cone.
π± Options for Everyone
They offer sugar free and vegan options, so no one misses out. Whether you're dairy free, watching sugar, or just want the most over the top chocolate cone possible, Crema di Gelato has you covered.
π Two Locations in Lagos
Old Town shop (the bigger one). Right in the heart of the pedestrian area. More flavours, more topping options.
Marina shop. Smaller, but with a lovely harbour view β΅οΈ. Perfect for an after dinner stroll along the marina with ice cream in hand. Very close to this one is tha Marina Playground.
Both shops have space to sit outside, and there's room for kids to move around while enjoying their cones. It's that relaxed Lagos vibe.
π ΏοΈ Parking
Both shops are in the pedestrian areas of Lagos, so you'll need to park and walk a bit.
For the old town shop: Parque da Frente Ribeirinha or the multi storey Parque de Estacionamento are your best options. About a 10 minute walk.
For the marina shop: park at the Marona car park.
