All Things Dough: The Best (Vegan!) Bakery in Lagos

There are places you recommend politely, and then there are places you practically drag people to. All Things Dough in Lagos is the second kind.

The Pão da Casa is really good, the cinnamon buns are legendary, we also love the focaccia and here's the thing that surprises most people: everything is vegan. But you would never, ever know.

🥐 What to Try

Let me be direct. There is one thing you HAVE to try: the bolinha de canela!

Cinnamon Buns. Soft, gooey, perfectly spiced, with just the right amount of sweetness.

They rotate their pastries and baked goods, so there's always something new. Croissants, focaccia, banana bread, cookies. All vegan, all really nice.

⏰ When to Go

This is important: go as early as possible. All Things Dough has become one of the worst kept secrets in Lagos, and the best items sell out quickly.

The bakery is small and cosy, with a few seats inside and outside. But most people grab and go, which works perfectly when you're out exploring with kids.

They just recently opened a new shop in May 2026 in the old town (with not the full variety as in the main shop).

📱 Pre ordering

If you know what you want, you can pre order via WhatsApp or Instagram (@all_things_dough) pre pay and pick it up. This is ideal for busy mornings when you want your bread ready without waiting in line. Especially useful in high season when there can be a queue.

👶🏻 Family Friendly?

It's a bakery, so there's no play area or plenty of space to run around. But kids love the cinnamon buns and cookies, and the grab and go format works well for families. Pick up your pastries, walk a few meters to the promenade and watch the marina and the crabs, and have a little picnic.

🅿️ Parking & Location

🌱 The Vegan Thing

Yes, everything is vegan. No, it doesn't taste "vegan" in the way you might expect. No substitute flavours, no weird textures. Just really, really good baked goods that happen to be plant based. Many regulars had no idea it was vegan until someone told them.

✨ Combine Your Visit
